If you need to find unscheduled students on a particular day, and schedule them quickly, the admin Unscheduled Students feature is extremely useful. Go to the admin Settings page, and in 'General Settings', choose 'Unscheduled Students.'
Select the date, and, if your school uses multiple periods, the period you want to find students for. By default, the current date will be selected.
All unscheduled students for that date and period will display in the 'Choose Students from List' box, where you can select students to schedule. At any point, if you want to change the date or period, or remove students you have selected, you can click the 'Refresh Courses & Students' button at the top right of the page.
Choose students from the list by selecting their name, and clicking the >> right pointing arrows to move them into the box on the right. To move them back to the student list, click the << left pointing arrows.
To move multiple students at once, select a student where you want to start, hold the shift key, and select a student where you want to end. Or, to select a number of students, but not all in a row, select the specific students you want by holding down the command key. This way, you could select all unscheduled students in one click of you wish. See pictures below.
Select a student, hold down shift, select an end student.
Select students while holding down the Command key to select a number of students at once, not necessarily in order.
After you've selecting your students, select the >> arrows, pointing right. The box on the right will contain all students you plan on rescheduling.
In the 'Reassign Students' box, select the course you want to schedule these students to, add a comment if you like, and select the appropriate appointment type. Select 'Save' and all students you had selected will now be scheduled.
This can useful feature if you need a quick fix to put unscheduled students somewhere during their flex time, in a matter of seconds.
