We've released a couple of updates to the student site we want to make everyone aware of.
Displaying Counts For Scheduled Courses
The application no longer displays the number of available seats to a student for a course the student is scheduled to. In the below image, the student is scheduled to see Robert Cyr on Sept 30th. Note how the number of open seats is still displayed for other courses, but not for the course the student is scheduled to (the course highlighted in green.)
Hide Courses With No Seats
The feedback we've received from schools is they would prefer to not show courses to students when the course has no available seats. This could happen because a course is fully booked, or the seat count has been set to 0 so that the staffer can control who is assigned.
You can see the new option in the above image, Hide Courses With No Seats. When selected (which is the default), courses that have no seats will not be displayed to the student. However, if there's a need for the student to view those courses, they can change the flag and those courses will be included in the list.
Note that when a course has no seats left, but the student is scheduled to that course, that course will still appear on the list, even with the filter selected. That's the case in the image above. The course the student is booked to has no open seats, but that course still appears on the list of courses.
