Bug Fixes
There was one bug fix released in this update; it was associated with the Student Scheduling page. We found that under some circumstances the calendar on the page would fire as users scrolled dates, rather than when a date was selected.
The fix has been pushed to the site. If you are using the Student Scheduling page and you are still having issues with the calendar, please clear your browser cache and refresh the page in order to get the latest script files.
Improvements to the User Experience
As we mentioned in a message posted to the site, we've seen some great growth in students using the site. Last week, we saw students creating over 1,200 appointments in a single minute! But while it's exciting to see students using the site, it's helped us to appreciate the need to adjust the scheduling experience so that students can continue to schedule as quickly as possible.
To that end, we've made a few adjustments to the student scheduling page.
If a date is selected that cannot be scheduled, either due to the day being blocked by the school, or because it's a date in the past, the page will no longer display a list of staffers. Rather, a message is displayed at the top of the page indicating the selected date isn't available.
Additionally, we've made some changes to the process that speeds up the way the data is retrieved. We're anticipating this will greatly improve the experience for the students.
