Some of you noticed an issue with the site on September 7th, 2016. We traced the problem back to the size of some rosters.
We found many teacher rosters with over 300 students in them. If only one person is scheduling a roster that size, it's a minor issue. However, we had over 70 people, each with rosters of 300 or more students. That works out to over 21,000 students being displayed at once. So we've had to make an adjustment to the scheduling page.
Starting today, any roster that is larger than 150 students will no longer load on the scheduling page. If the roster contains more than 150 students, a warning will be displayed, indicating the roster is to large.
Will this Impact Me
Less than 2% of the rosters in Enriching Students are that large. And it looks like an even smaller percentage of those rosters are used. So the impact will be minimal. But if you do have a roster that large, you are going to have to remove some of the students and create additional rosters.
Our goal is to provide you with the best possible scheduling experience. Thanks for your understanding as we make this adjustment!
